So, I am a Technician and working for this theme park was the worst professional entertainment I have worked for. For a little background on myself I have been working in the industry for 4 years and have a degree theatre. My issues with this work environment also extend to issues that I believe would also affect performers. The specific venue i worked within the park was the Globe Theatre. during the time I worked there someone either got fired or quit with very little notice at least once a month; This included performers, stage managers, and our park rigger. The entertainment department of the park also didn’t follow their own covid-19 policy, something I didn’t really even know until a week before my contract was up, because there was no signage around the park to remind employees of said policy. there was also one point in my time working there, when during a show with performers flying in the air, we had no park rigger and no park tech supervisor. There were also significant last minute schedule changes at least once a week Usually due to someone being sick or having covid; which was something we only learned through performer gossip (the Reason why someone was out, not the actual schedule changes). my specific venue also had a reputation for performer injuries, we had a near daily health services calls, this was probably attributed the fact that there were only 5 performer swings for the entire park and performers were doing up to six shows a day 4-6 days a week. overall would not recommend working for this theme park unless you have concrete evidence that any of the factors that cause these things have changed
