I just graduated last year and here's the tea: Overall, I had a good experience at school. I learned and grew so much in all aspects of performing. You create your own schedule and can focus on a certain area of study more if that is what you want. The training was phenomenal and I felt prepared to enter the world post-grad. HOWEVER - I was only on stage 1 time during my entire experience there. They have favorites and continue to cast the same people over and over. They don't care about giving people opportunities, they wanna treat it like the real world. I left Elon with 1 ensemble credit and no summer stock experience thanks to Covid. Despite this, the faculty are supportive and have lots of industry experience and contacts. The program is going through some growing pains as faculty continue to come and go as the years go by.
